Meteorologists with the National Weather Service Newport/Morehead City office talked hurricanes at a community forum in Buxton this week, focusing on the impacts of tropical cyclones on the Outer Banks.
More than 50 people attended the forum, one of several in communities hard-hit by hurricanes across eastern North Carolina.
