No children were hurt in a Monday afternoon collision between a Currituck County school bus and a sedan on N.C. 168.
The wreck happened around 3:20 p.m. across from the Moyock Cemetery. One person in the four-door car was trapped and had to extricated. That person was taken to Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.
In a Facebook post, Currituck school officials said the 14 students on board Bus 28 were safe and unharmed.
School officials said students on that bus arrived home late and the crash may have caused other buses to run late as well.
