The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary partial road closure beginning at approximately 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, at Neptune Drive and U.S. 158 for sewer system maintenance work.
Maintenance work will be performed on sewer system infrastructure located in the eastbound lane of Neptune Drive at the corner of Neptune Drive and U.S. 158.
Kill Devil Hills Public Services will be installing traffic barriers and cones to block eastbound traffic from U.S. 158.
Neptune Drive’s westbound lane will remain open while the maintenance work is being performed. No work is planned on U.S. 158.
The Public Services Department anticipates that the work will be completed and the road open to traffic by 4 p.m.
