Man wanted for headphone, speaker thefts from Kitty Hawk Walmart arrested

The central North Carolina man wanted for stealing thousands of dollars of electronics from the Walmart in Kitty Hawk and other stores in eastern N.C. has been taken into custody near Jacksonville, N.C.

The Kitty Hawk Police Department said Lucas Aaron Ayscue of Burlington was arrested Wednesday in Richlands.

He has been implicated in the theft of over $4,500 in speakers and headphones from the Walmart in Kitty Hawk on October 21.

Police said Ayscue was caught after a similar incident at a store in Swansboro a few hours before his arrest.

He was also wanted in connection with thefts from Walmart stores in three other counties. He was being booked into Onslow County Jail in lieu of a $74,000 secured bond.

  1. Like I said previously , the police were going to get this criminal. Hopefully hell be severely punished for a very long time. This lose could have injured or even killed someone during his criminal activity. Wish I had half hour in a room alone with this loser ” Lukie” wouldnt walk out. Good job police department.

  2. Most people doing these type of things need additional help, let’s never forget that. Regardless, good job catching him. He will be thinking about the consequences of his actions for a very long time.
