UPDATED: Police identify suspect in Handee Hugo burglary

Kitty Hawk police are searching for James Garrett Boggs of Henderson, who is wanted on felony charges in connection with Friday’s burglary at the Handee Hugo convenience store at the corner of N.C. 12 and Ocean Boulevard.

The store was broken into at 1:06 a.m. and a yet-to-be determined amount of merchandise was stolen.

Boggs is wanted on warrants for felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods, Kitty Hawk police said in a Wednesday Facebook post.
