On Saturday, Jan. 18, Cape Hatteras United Methodist Men are hosting a 5K Fun Run for our Ocracoke neighbors. All proceeds will go to Ocracoke storm relief.
The race will start at the Fessenden Center, go to the British Cemetery and back.
This will not be an official timed race, but the first 100 racers across the finish line receive a medal.
Registration begins at 7 a.m., the race starts at 8 a.m. The donation is $20 per person and all ages and strollers are welcome. Donations may be paid in cash, or by check made to the Cape Hatteras United Methodist Men, noting Ocracoke 5K in the memo line.
