Willie Mae “Tish” Ambrose, 91 of Manns Harbor, NC died Saturday, December 28, 2019 at Peak Resources – Outer Banks surrounded by her family.
Ms. Ambrose was born in East Lake, NC. She was a long-time member and a pillar of Mount Carmel United Methodist Church. She served many years with the United Methodist Women. She was the daughter of the late Willie Nathaniel Crain and the late Julia Mae Bratten Crain. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Wilson Ambrose, two sons – Willie Christopher Ambrose and Baby Boy Ambrose; a daughter – Julia Faye Ambrose Perry; and a sister, Rose Hand.
Ms. Ambrose is survived by her son, Roy (Sharon) Ambrose, Sr; two grandsons – Roy (Melissa) Ambrose, Jr. and Jeff (Crystal) Ambrose; and four great-grandchildren – Ben (Savanah) Ambrose, Blake Ambrose, Hannah Ambrose, and Neviah Dobson.
The funeral service will be held at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church in Manns Harbor, NC on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends after the service in the church’s fellowship hall and other times at her son’s home.
