Wanchese – Debra Kerr Sanderlin, 67, died unexpectedly at her Wanchese, NC home November 10, 2019. Born in Rhode Island to Robert and Frances James October 29,1952; she was widowed by her husband, Horace Sanderlin in 2016.
Debra is survived by her children, Jeffery Sanderlin and Heather Sanderlin; her grandchildren, Ocean Payne, Madison Payne, and Zoe Sanderlin; her great- grandchildren Truxton Payne, Coral Copeland, and Nehemiah Copeland; and her siblings, Patty Kerr, Cindy Hooper, and Robert Kerr.
Our day has become dimmer though a little brighter as our eyes look upon the sky and our hearts shatter with the loss of a mother who was our whole world. Now she’s with Jesus and we know she’s painless and watching down on us with joy.
The family will honor Debra’s wishes for cremation and plans for a memorial service are pending at this time. The family is gratefully accepting memorial donations in Debra’s honor (in lieu of flowers) directly to Gallop Funeral Services, Inc.
